GPL Introduces
AWE  Early Literacy Computer Stations

Uniquely designed for toddlers through second grade, each computer station is packed with top rated developmental programs using an imaginative interface that encourages exploration and results in fun educational experiences.
Each station features a color-coded keyboard designed for learning and a tiny mouse that is engineered to perfectly fit a child's smaller hand. Twenty-six outstanding educational titles are preloaded onto each Early Literacy Station.
Titles appealing to preschoolers include: Reader Rabbit Toddler, Stellaluna, The Cat in the Hat, Millie's Math House, and Sammy's Science House.
Programs apt to capture the curiosity of school age students include: Reader Rabbit Learn to Read with Phonics, SpongeBob Square Pants Typing, Krazy ArtRoom, My Amazing Human Body, USA Explorer, and My First Amazing History Explorer.
Other software features are 3 programs from the award-winning PBS television series, Between the Lions: Waiter There's A Fly In My Soup, Shooting Stars, and Pandora's Box. All software is available in Spanish.
Of universal appeal are:  Encarta Kids 2006, Encarta Dictionary 2006, and Microsoft Paint.  

Two of these computers were purchased with funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services through a grant from the Indiana State Library.
