On Saturday, January 28th, IndyLUG joined us for a special LEGO Star Wars event! Over 100 people showed up to participate in crafts and LEGO building fun. Not only were kids able to get a first glimpse of the massive Star Wars display in progress, they also created Bith puppets, Star Wars marble magnets, and helped our IndyLUG volunteers put together kits that will be used in their display at BrickWorld Indy. Anyone interested in seeing the final product can visit the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis on March 10th and 11th. Hours are Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. For more information visit their website at http://www.brickworld.us/indy/. If you are unable to visit, photos of the display will be available shortly after the convention.
We would like to offer our thanks to everyone who participated and helped make this such a successful event! Next month, we look forward to exploring the world of dinosaurs during Lego Literacy, and in March we will be creating planes and trains!
