Legos in the Library: A Family Fun and Literacy Co-op
For kindergarten through teen-age kids and adult caregivers.
Parents MUST accompany K-5 kids.
Have some fun and pave the way for learning when you bring your kids (girls AND boys) to our Lego play group. Did you know that play contributes to all kinds of mental development, from creativity to reasoning and problem solving? Join us for 90 minutes of thematic, free-spirited Lego building and leave with a bonus: our favorite complimentary reading suggestions around each theme.

Boys Adventure Club
For kindergarten through fifth-grade boys.

Writing Club
For kindergarten through fifth-graders who enjoy expressing themselves through writing. Saturdays, 1 p.m.

Do you love to write stories? Have you ever thought about writing your own book? Well join GPL's Writing Club for a chance to write and illustrate your very own hardbound book. Other activities include creating your own I SPY challenges, designing and decorating your own diary or journal, and creating your own collection of poetry.
