What:

Greenwood Public Library will turn one of its landscape beds into a learning garden for the summer of 2010. Educational programs on horticulture related topics will be offered throughout the year.

Who:

Any homeschooler grades 5-12 may participate.  Registration is required.  Garden volunteer time in addition to scheduled programs is encouraged.  See sign-up sheet at each program for a list of times and duties. 

How:

Official sign-ups for programs listed begin at the informational session on February 24.  You must register for each program independently. 

Cost:

Free!  Sprouts garden expenses have generously been donated by the Fisher Family in memory of their father W.J. "Bill" Fisher.
Presenter: Kendra Martin is a GPL librarian and graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Landscape Horticulture and Design.  She has presented several garden related programs here at GPL and is a home gardener.  Read more here
