| All are invited to "dive into reading" this summer at Greenwood Public Library! Summer reading registration begins on Monday, May 14th. Sign up at the Adult Reference Desk or online! Summer reading is an annual program which encourages reading for all ages by rewarding hours read with prizes and providing programs centered around a common theme. This year we're going to the beach as we "dive into reading." The summer reading program is free. Read whatever you like, log the hours you read, and collect prizes. In order to attend summer reading programs and earn additional raffle tickets, you must have a GPL resident or non-resident card or a family programming card.

|  TeenScene : Girl Talk - An After Hours Event
June 15, 2012 * 5-9:30pm * Grades 6-12
Beach Party! Girl Talk is back with another exciting night of games, crafts, and discussion...summer style! Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of fun activities that focus on the theme: Be Proud, Be Yourself. The evening's itinerary will focus on programs that encourage positive self-expression and confidence building. Activities include a high velocity scavenger hunt, bleached bandanas, a hilarious game of telephone and more! Snacks will be provided throughout the night and prizes will be awarded. July 13, 2012 * 5pm * Grades 6-12
Who dun it? That is the question. Join us for a murder mystery in the library. Participants will be given a character in advance of the program.
