what is a gpl subscription box?
A subscription box is a packaged experience - a monthly delivery of cool stuff in a box. Have you heard of OwlCrate? Or Fab Fit Fun? Or Loot Crate? Our GPL subscription box is a lot like that...but FREE!
Here at GPL, we’re always looking for fun ways to connect readers with our collection of books. Thus was born the idea of a book “subscription” box, a personalized connection between YOU the reader and US, your friendly neighborhood librarians. We want to help you find "YOUR NEXT FAVORITE BOOK", and we know it's in the library's collection!
how does it work?
Sign up on our Events Calendar for a pick up date. We're currently offering two Fridays each month. After registering, you'll receive an email from staff with additional information about the program and a link to a fun "What's your reading style?" quiz.
Each box will contain a book specifically chosen according to your responses on the quiz along with fun swag that you get to keep! If you return the box and a completed review card to the library by the end of the month, you'll be entered into a raffle for a gift card to the book store. Winners will be selected quarterly. You can return the book any time (hopefully after reading and enjoying it), and don't forget that you get to keep the swag!
What's in the box?
Every box will include :
- A specially selected book from our collection chosen according to your personal reading style
- 2-3 fun bits of swag you get to keep (ex. candy, buttons, bookmarks, fun socks, key chains, etc.)
- A review and evaluation card to let us know how we're doing on selecting titles just for YOU
And just to make the box even more FUN...we keep the book a surprise until you get home and open your box!
