Greenwood Reads is a way to bring the community together as we read and discuss the same book. We'll have book discussions and other fun activities to accompany each title. We'll also be giving away free copies of each book, while supplies last. Free books will be available beginning September 1st to anyone registered for one of our in-person or online discussions.

Can't make it to an in-person discussion?
Join our Greenwood Reads Facebook group for online book discussions all month long! We'll have discussions for all three titles available.
Come for the Cake, Stay for the Book
Thurs | Oct 6 | 5pm - 8pm
As a thank you for a fun month of great discussions and activities during our community read, we want to celebrate in the spirit of Sara Nisha Adams’s The Reading List! Come and visit us at the library. Let us introduce you to the new spaces, services, and activities that we host. And we’ll serve you cake. Lots of cake!
Didn’t read the book? Totally cool. Come anyway. Missed the book discussions? Not a problem. You’re still invited! Come for the cake, and we hope that you’ll also stay for the books. Tours of GPL and book-related activities will be available throughout the evening along with FREE sweet treats.
“These are the books that brought me closer to myself, that shaped me and my world -- I hope they'll bring you light and joy and, if you ever miss me, you'll find me within their pages.” ~Sara Nisha Adams
