It feels like all eyes are on you as you burst through the door of the lecture hall on your first day of classes. The chalkboard says Econ 101, but you were sure you were supposed to be in Russian Lit. If there’s one thing you’re not good at, it’s awkward, so instead of shrugging off the mistake and heading back out into the hallway, you silently slink to the back of the room and slide into the only open chair. When the professor turns his back, the cute guy sitting next to you leans over and asks if you’re lost too. It’s as if your whole body sighs with relief that you’re not the only person that was confused. Turns out he had been looking for Women’s Studies. Safety in numbers, you decide to bolt together and head over to the Registrar’s Office to figure out where things got messed up on your schedules. Laughter ensues as you start chatting about how far you would have gotten into the class if you didn’t have someone to leave with. And that’s how it begins. A minor schedule mishap leads to an unexpected meeting, four years of fun, and a happily ever after that is better than you could have ever imagined.
