Novel Destinations: a literary inspired art show

June 5 - July 25

Novels are full of so many varied settings and this summer we’re planning to celebrate the many destinations readers have visited. From fantastical lands to historical cities to charming rural towns, the settings in novels lend endless artistic inspiration.

Art Show Guidelines:

  • All art disciplines are welcome to apply – 2D mediums including photography, 3D mediums
  • Artists must be ages 16 and up
  • Artists must submit the artist interest form online by May 16 to be included, and must agree to the drop off and pick up dates
  • Artwork must be inspired by the setting of a specific novel
  • All artwork must by ready to hang, preferably with a wire hanger
  • This is not a juried show and there is no fee for entry

Important Dates:

  • Artist Interest Form open: April 1
  • Artist Interest Form due: May 16
  • Art dropped off to library: May 31 or June 2
  • Opening Reception: June 5
  • Show on display” June 5 – July 25
  • Pick up: July 26 or July 28
