It’s a beautiful day. That perfect kind of fall day where the air is crisp enough for a sweater and the leaves have started to change to vibrant shades of orange and yellow. You decide to make the most of the sunshine and walk down to your local park for a stroll through nature. It’s almost as if pumpkin spice is in the air. You’re on your favorite path, lost in your own thoughts as you look up at the trees when you hear a woman shout just a split second before you are tackled by a giant golden retriever. A hand reaches down to help you back on your feet as the dog licks your face, tail wagging as if you have been best friends for years. This woman, this beautiful woman with a curly brown hair, wearing the softest flannel shirt, looks at you, horrified that her dog went rogue, but when you start to laugh, you set her at ease. The laughter leads to conversation, conversation to a shared walk, walk to dinner plans, and before you know it, happily ever after. All because of a beautiful fall day and a precocious dog that becomes your very best friend.
