This is the night that you need a babysitter!  Experience the library like a kid again with free reign of the building and no one shushing you…but with snacks and adult beverages!  And it's also a fundraiser for the Greenwood Library Foundation!

Throughout the evening you'll earn tickets by participating in activities for the chance to win one of 3 raffle prizes.  Bring your competitive spirit and let your inner child run free (and still be home by 10:30pm).

Doors open at 6pm (entry until 7pm).  Entry fee includes soft drinks, snacks, and fun!  Food trucks and adult beverages will be available.  Ages 21 and over only.

FAQs

What is the fundraiser for?

The Greenwood Library Foundation – a non-profit 501-c3 - raises funds so that library staff can dream up, plan, and offer exciting programs just like the fun you're going to have at Library After Dark. They fund 100% of the programs offered by GPL. All proceeds from this events ticket sales will go back to programming and special projects at the library. **There will be no refunds for this event. Tickets can be transferred to a friend or family member if you are unable to attend after registering. Please give us a call at 317-881-1953 with any questions or to transfer your ticket.

Parking

Access the library’s parking lot off Meridian St. If the lot is full, there is additional parking in the city lot just west of the library accessible off Surina Way or on the corner of Surina and Meridian. We've included a helpful map with all of the nearby lots circled!

Event Info

Doors will open promptly at 6pm and will close at 7pm. Feel free to arrive anytime within that hour window. The entry fee includes soft drinks, snacks, and access to ALL the fun! (See “Activities” for a list of everything offered at the event.) the event.) Food trucks and adult beverages will be available with items for purchase. (Please be sure to bring an ID if you plan on purchasing a beverage.) The event ends at 10pm.

Raffle Prizes

Earn raffle tickets throughout the evening for participating in activities. Take your earned raffle tickets to the lobby and place them in the raffle prizes you would like to try to win. Winners will be selected at the end of the night. You do not need to be present to win.

Food

An assortment of chips, snacks, water, and soft drinks will be available for FREE with your entry ticket. We’re working on securing some food trucks for dinner options. Taxman Brewing and Mallow Run will be here selling adult beverages.
