3D Printer
The Studio has a Prusa i3 MKS 3D printer. The plate size is approximately 9.5 in X 8 in.
Patrons can request one free print job of 5 hours per week.
Beginning June 1, 2024, patrons must have a valid GPL library card in order to request a 3D print. All 3D prints must be complete within 5 hours and will incur a $3 charge payable by cash or credit card at pickup.
Fill out our online form to submit a 3D print and submit your .stl file as an e-mail attachment to our Studio Specialist at sdeitz@greenwoodlibrary.us. Staff will review the file for any errors prior to printing. Estimated turnaround time for 3D print requests is 10 business days.
